Introduction
The Office of International Affairs develops, guides and promotes the policy of internationalization of the university.
Its main activities are:
a) Making agreements with foreign institutions of teaching and research.
b) Supporting PUC Minas students, faculty and staff in research activities and studies abroad.
c) Searching for opportunities of scholarships and research funding for the university academic community.
d) Welcoming and assisting foreign students, faculty and staff visiting PUC Minas.
e) Promoting international events in the university.
f) Making agreements for foreign language studies and work abroad.
Support to exchange participants and foreign visitors
The Office of International Affairs is always available to help foreigners visiting PUC Minas, offering academic support, assisting the period of adaptation to the University (assisting the adaptation process), giving information on possible problems with their visa, and ready to help in any other matter during their stay in the country.
Besides, the Office of International Affairs acts as a link between visiting students or faculty and services such as:
• Information on location and services rendered in the various units of PUC Minas;
• Accommodation;
• Information on documents required for stay in Brazil and the use of public services;
• Information on tourism and culture.
